Entrepreneur, technologist, strategist, and public speaker with a track-record for creating radically new business models and disruptive new technologies.

I help organizations innovate faster with strategic partnerships and rapid experimentation. I begin by getting to the heart of the challenge: an out-dated business model, an organization’s growth limitations, and/or an industry-wide roadblock. Next I develop a strong network of partners to quickly prototype and experiment on new models that overcome these obstacles. Through a data-driven process of systematic iteration, the winning sustainable paths forward are identified.

Prior to this role, I co-founded New Knowledge AI -- a data science startup aimed at monitoring and detecting threats on social networks. Before that, I led strategic partnerships for Ushahidi -- a Nairobi-based open source humanitarian tech platform. And just before that, I served with the White House as a Presidential Innovation Fellow under the Obama Administration. I spent six months working alongside the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy pursuing the mandate to leverage open data and partnerships for promoting economic growth in the world’s poorest countries.

As a college undergrad I co-founded a govtech startup (www.DMV.org) and turned it into a multi-million dollar business before turning 21. With a team of 5, we built the first web platform that continues to help over 110 Million Americans annually find DMV related information, products, and services they need, across all fifty states.

Having built a successful govtech business that scaled, we replicated the business models and systems across thousands of domains. We launched a successful online publishing company that manages a portfolio of 3000+ domains. Under my strategic guidance, the company made the Inc.5000 list reporting 391% growth in three years.
