Vidya builds new things inside large organizations. She also builds new organizations from scratch. Her work spans digital product, innovation strategy, partnerships, and governance — from Nike's innovation lab to the White House to the venture-backed startups she co-founded and scaled.
As a Global GM at Nike, she ran Valiant Labs — the company's digital innovation unit. P&L for 35+ ventures. Led teams that took Nike Refurbished from concept to $100M in annual revenue and kept 2M shoes out of landfill. Validated six new business models with $1.5B in combined potential ARR.
For the White House, she delivered five projects proving open data could drive economic growth in impoverished regions. Her work informed how the Senate Foreign Relations Committee appropriates $23B+ in foreign aid.
She co-founded DMV.org as an undergraduate and scaled it to serve 110 million Americans annually. Inc. 500, #129. She co-founded New Knowledge, an AI cybersecurity startup. Customers included DARPA, the United Nations, and Google.
